So, here I am making two posts within six months. I know, it's quite shocking.

I'm at work, waiting for the Yankees to get done so I can finish the baseball standings, so I can go home to my gorgeous wife. Hurry up, Yanks!

The Storm won their 4th game in a row Friday, so they're still in the thick of the playoff race. Things will be even better when I'm playing for them next year...

I'll be working six days in a row, seven if I can switch with my buddy. I'm trying to get off next Thursday so we can go see Pirates III at midnight. We'll see how that works out.

On April 1st, I married the most wonderful gift God has ever given me.

I thought it only right to come back here and tell it, considering this place helped to start it all.

I couldn't be happier. I'm speechless, most days...

I'd promise to update later, but every time say that, I don't post for the next six months. So this time, I won't say it, so maybe I WILL update. We'll see...

Well, I could try to list a bunch of lame excuses as to why I haven't posted in months. But I won't. ;)

Life has been wonderful lately. School and work are going awesome, and God has blessed me beyond measure with the friends and family I have. I love you all so much...

For those of you at church who still check this, don't forget to come check out the YFL this Sunday! Games start at 1 PM!

Yesterday was so awesome.

First off, Sanctus Real's new album, "The Face Of Love, hit stores. Second, Hawk Nelson' new album, "Smile, It 's The End Of The World", hit stores, too. I was waiting at Family Christian Stores before they even opened, and was the first person to receive a copy of both CDs. They are both incredible. Go buy them. Now. Right now. Yes, you.

Also, Ted Dekker was at Family Christian Stores that morning, so I got to meet and chat with him. He also signed Lakin's copy of "Black" for her. That was awesome. He's a cool dude.

I love my family. From my parents to grandparents, to siblings (real and inducted), to my amazing Girl and her family. They bless me every day, in so many ways. I love you all, more than you know.

Here's a little thread I'm going to start on here. The new Sanctus Real record is a deep soul-search of the band, and is filled with lyrics that speak deeply to the listener. I'm going to post a few every now and then, and I'd like you guys to respond with your feelings on them. Sound good? Here we go...

And so it has been a year. One full year, since those gorgeous words finally made their way from the depths of my soul to the heights of her heart. I said I loved you, Girl. And I meant every word.

From a message board to a Xanga. From a text message to a phone call. From an airport to an airport. From my dreams into your arms. From those first words to that first kiss. I'd do it all again.

As a matter of fact, why don't we? Let's spend another year living on every word each other speaks. Another year in which we cherish every moment we spend together, and give each other the strength to make it to the next time.

So, this is how I feel right now. Call me cheesy, sappy, corny...whatever. I'm in love, and have been for quite a while. I just returned from a visit with my Lovely Lady, Lakin, and it was amazing, as usual. Coming back here is always tough, but she'll be moving here soon to be with me, so we're almost done with this long distance stuff.

March 29th will be one year. It's been a crazy one, that's for sure. Flying here or there every month, spending probably $1,000 each (mostly due to incredible parents) on airfare alone, coming and going, over and over again. But we're almost there.

So, how's life, everyone?

I'm really enjoying this new job. It's back in the Newsroom that I love and missed for so long. The pay and hours are awesome, and there's just not a better place to be than the Sports Deptartment.

The Draft is coming up...can you feel it?

Lord, please let this NFL CBA thing get worked out. PLEASE...

Rosie's group smoked their dance competition last weekend, as usual. Those girls are all so awesome, and I'm so proud of Rosie. GO VSOD!
